What’s Happening at BWD
It’s been a while since we’ve used
this space to tout the BWD website, but we’ve added lots of meaty
content in the past few years.
Have you seen our “Birding By
Region” section? We are building
a page for every state, and collect-
ing information for international
birding hotspots, too. Some of
the content is lifted from the pages
of BWD; some comes from the
pages of books we’ve published;
and some of the content comes
from our readers—folks who have
taken birding trips and want to
share their experiences—such as
Donna Ikenberry’s travelogue of a
trip to the Amazon Basin and the
Galapagos Islands. If you enjoy
traveling for bird watching and
enjoy our Far Afield and Spotlight
columns, go to birdwatchersdigest.
com, click on Explore, and then on
Birding by Region.
The Birding by Region section
is just one example of the new
content on our website. We hope
you’ll check it out, find it useful,
and return often.
Rendezvous and More Rendezvous
As 2017 winds down, we are
pleased to note that this was the
first year in which we’ve arranged
Hog Island facilities manager Eric Snyder rows Puffins ‘n Stuff
Reader Rendezvous participants to Harbor Island.
