With this issue we say goodbye
to our good friend and colleague
Wendy Clark, BWD sales and
events director, who is off to a new
career in bird conservation. We
wish her nothing but success. We
say hello to Wendy’s replacement,
Ben Lizdas, whom many of you
may recall from his years at Eagle
Optics. Our mantra here is always
“Change is good.”
Here’s a little poem that seems
relevant:
Be like the bird, who,
Pausing in his flight
On a limb too slight
Feels it give way beneath him,
Yet sings,
Knowing he has wings.
—Victor Hugo
May your holidays be both
happy and birdy. And I’ll see you
out there with the birds.
